Attach large files up to 10GB in Gmail using google Drive

Attaching larger files with emails was one of the major limitations faced by most of the internet users. But some of the third party website like sendthisfile.com offers a provision to exchange larger files between the users.

Now google came up with a way to attach larger files with their email with the support of their cloud storage service GDrive. Earlier it was limited to 25MB which was too little for its users.

Google allows their gmail users to attach files up to 10GB with their email using google drive, moreover users can set file permissions on the attached if there exist more than one recipient.

The facility to attach such kind of files will be only available with the new compose box interface already launched. You can see "plus" sign at the bottom of the new compose box, while it will expand and show the google drive logo on mouse over, where you can select gdrive and get listed with your files in it.

Aakash 2 tablet on Rs 1,130 for indian students

India's own tablet Aakash 2 available for students on Rs 1,130 from today onwards. Indian president pranab mukherjie launched the second version of Akash named Aakash 2. Akash is famous for its cheap rate and better performance.

Aakash 2 was developed by Mumbai IIT with the help of C-DAC and the tablet is manufactured by Datawind. The manufacturer supplies aakash2 tablets to the indian government for Rs 2,263 and the government distributes it among the students of india on a 50% subsidized rate of Rs 1,130.

First version of aakash launched in October 2011 was a flop and it lead to the development of cheap rated, highly equipped, better performing Aakash 2. By the launcing of Aakash2 indian govt made a step forward in the education sector of india. Already a large set of teachers from around 250 colleges of india were trained with the new tablet. At first the govt is looking to distribute the tablet among the major engineering colleges across the country.

Abilty to work on Linux platform will be an added advantage. Datawind CEO Suneet Tuli says that, akash2 can remotely control even a robot.
