C-DAC Pune launched India's fastest supercomputer - Param Yuva II.
J Satyanarayana, secretary of the department of electronics and information technology congratulated the people behind the development of Param Yuva II.
Param Yuva II is the fastest indigenous supercomputer of India, and the 62nd fastest in whole world.
The new one will help us in areas like weather forecasting, seismic analysis and scientific data processing.
They says that the main beneficiaries will be the science and technology related academic centers and research and development laboratories of our country and more over they were planning to setup a network between the Indian institute of technologies and national institute of technologies to bring them all under single tent using Param Yuva II
